Opposite Reactions

a wall began to form around her heart, & the lies & the broken promises he made were simply the bricks for the foundation. the same wall he worked so hard to break down he had oppositely helped to rebuild again. the closer he got, the greater of a distance he created between the two. & when the wall was complete he was no longer able to influence her emotions. what he thought he was doing to make her stay in his arms was instead making her completely unreachable.
