as we checked our egos at the door,

the power exchange was finally over

& we were overwhelmed by how easy things came.

how we laughed & conversed in more ways than one,

until we lost ourselves in each other completely.

creating a present that made us want to guarantee

we would be a part of each other's future,

creating moments only heaven could parallel to.

it was clear that we had graduated from infatuation,

& we were now being formerly introduced to love.
